Overview

As the Database Developer, in this position candidate will be designing, building, testing, implementing SSIS packages, Web API using C# and writing SQL code to meet the company requirements.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and maintain SSIS packages
  • Develop web API using C# language in MVC 5 framework.
  • Develop stored procedures.
  • Performance tuning on existing stored procedures.
  • Writing database maintenance sql scripts
  • Work closely with end-users and/or internal project teams to develop detailed technical requirements and specifications for the development of the software element for complex systems
  • Work closely with other engineers, systems analysts, and system end-users for the development of appropriate system architectures and implementation of system designs
  • Direct the development of the architecture, detailed system design, coding, integration, testing and configuration management schemes for software systems
  • Assist users with functional requirement analysis

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL server 2012 and above
  • Experienced in using data flow and control flow tasks available with SSIS projects type
  • Proficiency in developing custom tasks and ETL Flows using Sql Server Data Tools
  • Experienced in working with Change data capture transformations and creating highly configurable ETL packages
  • 4 to 9 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing in Middleware / RESTful Services environment.
  • Experience in writing web api methods, custom filters using C# in MVC 5 framework.
  • Caching web apis
  • 4 to 9 years of experience in writing stored procedures and designing database tables.
  • 4 to 9 years of experience as an SSIS Engineer
  • Experience in implementation of various Design Patterns and Asynchronous Programming
  • 4 to 9 years of working knowledge within a Windows environment
  • Experience with Microsoft T-SQL, as well as experience converting T-SQL SPROCs to SSIS
  • Related experience in a DoD environment
  • Knowledge of Windows environment from operating system to SQL.
