S&H is currently looking for a talented Copywriter join our growing team. The role of the Copywriter is to create original, supportable (factually-based) copy that conveys the ideas necessary to achieve a specified communications objective. To do this Copywriters must understand and be able to accurately represent in writing the brand's indications and benefits, identifying (and referencing) pertinent data that will support their subject matter.
Copywriters also contribute to the development of concepts, based on a briefing that sets a specific communication objective. They are expected to take risks creatively to push their work to be its best, developing original headlines that are on strategy and are supported effectively by copy. In solving these creative challenges, they should avoid obvious solutions to push past cliché ideas, striving for unique, provocative, and memorable work.
What You’ll Accomplish
Copywriters must comprehend the science necessary to be able to write productively for their brand
Copywriters must understand the process by which a project moves from concept and draft copy, through editorial revisions, client comments, and medical/regulatory submission, to a finished piece
Stay within project hours allotted by their supervisors and maintain productivity by seeking additional work when current assignments are completed
